Thank you for your interest in becoming a facilitator of the Suicide Prevention Online Learning Center site content. Presently, we have developed facilitator guides for each of the 8 modules within the “Youth Suicide Prevention for Educators Course.” The guides and associated powerpoints were created to support discussion and interaction around the content from the video modules. Facilitators who would like to use this existing course content to lead a training with a group may utilize these guides as part of an in-person or virtual synchronous learning experience.
Anyone interested in becoming a facilitator must first be registered as a user on this site and then complete the entire “Youth Suicide Prevention for Educators” course. Please note that the course consists of 8 half hour classes (4 hours), and facilitators must pass the final quiz for each class to complete the course in its entirety.
Once the “Youth Suicide Prevention for Educators” course is complete, please review the facilitator guidelines and expectations below and then click the button to complete the registration form for facilitators. After registration is complete, you will be contacted within one week with further instructions about how to facilitate a course, and you will be provided with access to the facilitator materials for the modules that you selected during registration.
At the time of registration, Facilitators will be asked to confirm that they have read and agree to the following terms:
If you are interested in discussing how to facilitate a course or use the facilitator materials, or if you have other questions, please contact us.
