Method Restriction: Primary Care and Public Health Approaches
In this course, Dr. Brent addresses the relationship between method availability and suicide risk. A particular focus is on the impact of the change in the availability of methods on suicide rates at the population level. Additionally, effects of counseling and patient education on reducing access to lethal means in a clinical setting are discussed.
